This capstone course of the MBA program focuses on strategy formulation and its implementation from a top management perspective. It intends to create an extensive knowledge of the modern business world. Students will get familiar with international strategies, collaborative innovation strategies, and digital platform strategies to develop strategic decision-making. The approach adopted includes lectures, case analyses, and action learning through group efforts. These develop skills for strategic thinking and analysis, in leadership, communication, teamwork, and cross-functional integration.

  • Study their external environment, research their market, and find changing trends that will affect them in the post pandemic world.
  • How the business needs to perform during the post pandemic business era considering its interactions with customers, society, and employees?
  • How can they remain competitive without jeopardizing their moral principles when dealing with their competitors?

Expected outcomes and deliverables
  1. Product, Service or Offering: providing a description of the business model
  2. Competitive Environment: providing an overview and analysis of the competitive environment within which local company operates - perspectives on any trends which might impact the organization, other significant issues, trends, megatrends, political situation, etc.
  3. Competitive Analysis: Studying main competitors, identifying any similarities and/or differences between the competitors and any points of differentiation, and providing a competitive analysis
  4. Organizational Assessment: developing or adopting a framework for assessing the organization – based on the interviews with the client and presented research, providing a description of the company’s current strategy, and studying the company’s short-term prospects versus long-term prospects given its current strategy
  5. Recommendations: providing the strategy assessment and recommendations regarding the company’s current strategy
