Learner goals and capabilities

An individual or team of students from the University of California Riverside, University Extension can provide a fresh perspective, analysis, and recommendations for consideration, to support your organization with a specific problem or process. Using a consultant-friendly, project-driven approach, they will work together to research a Human Resource Management (HRM) topic (i.e. recruitment, selection, performance appraisal, employee engagement, training ‘n’ development, employee engagement, communication challenges, etc.). Each team will conduct a comprehensive literature review (research) and investigate a specific human resource topic on behalf of a Client (business organization).

Any potential gaps between the literature and the practical application of the Client’s proposed topic will be identified and recommendations made for improvement.

Note: The class size will be updated to represent the total # of students who actually select and complete a project with a Riipen partnering organization.
