Bring on learners from Morningside University to be your learner-consultants, in a project-based experience. Learners will work on one main project over the experience of the semester, connecting with you as needed with virtual communication tools.
Learners in this program/experience will explore business activities related to the concept of entrepreneurial characteristics including value proposition, market and financial opportunity analysis and the creation of an elevator pitch .
Learners
Deliverables are negotiable, and will seek to align the needs of the learners and the organization.
Some final project deliverables might include:
- A 10-15 minute presentation on key findings and recommendations
- A detailed report including their research, analysis, insights and recommendations

Project Examples
Requirements
Learners in groups of 3-5 will work with your company to identify your needs and provide actionable recommendations, based on their in-depth research and analysis.
Project activities that learners can complete may include, but are not limited to:
- Apply the concepts of entrepreneurial characteristics, forms of business, business ethics and opportunity identification for an organization.
- Learn the value of a feasibility analysis, developing goals and objectives, and create a vision and mission for a business.
- Apply financial concepts, identify market segments and develop a value proposition for an organization.
- Identify and fully explain a value proposition, complete a market and financial analysis of an opportunity, evaluate the resource requirements for the venture, and create and present a successful elevator pitch.
Additional company criteria
Companies must answer the following questions to submit a match request to this experience:
Be available for a quick phone/virtual call with the instructor to initiate your relationship and confirm your scope is an appropriate fit for the experience.
Provide a dedicated contact person who is available for weekly/bi-weekly drop-ins to address learners’ questions as well as periodic messages over the duration of the project.
Provide an opportunity for learners to present their work and receive feedback.
Provide relevant information and/or data as needed for the project.
