ExamPrep.ai aims to provide the most advanced exam prep experience available. We are 5 years in development and continually redesign our site to improve UI/UX based on user feedback, and as new features are available. It is a challenge to make our UI as simple and non-intimidating as possible, while also providing as much supportive & actionable insight as we can for our users.

Several areas of our site would benefit from UI/UX review, and we are flexible to letting students hone in on what interests them most. Examples:

• Our ReadyRating is a prediction of exam readiness, currently organized into 5-levels with each representing a 20%+ probability of passing. (ReadyRating 1 to 5 imply odds of passing of <20%, 20%+, 40%+, 60%+, and 80%+ respectively). There are many pros/cons to different designs we'd appreciate help exploring.
• Video lesson navigation can be made more intuitive.
• Highlighting our UX strengths in marketing can be much improved.
• & much more!

Specific tasks are flexible based on the area(s) students decide to focus. Students will be working directly with me (Michael Anuzis, Founder of ExamPrep.ai). I've taken coursework on UI/UX in the past, but have a lot to learn. I would appreciate working with students as collaborators as though we are on a small UI/UX team together: brainstorming ideas, prioritizing the biggest impact redesign opportunities, focusing on the top issues, and delivering some meaningful results.

Getting UI feedback from real users is always a challenge since we don't want to overly bother our existing students who are focused on studying. If students can help coordinate feedback from unbiased & independent test users that would be appreciated.

As mentioned earlier, students will work directly with me (Michael Anuzis, Founder of ExamPrep.ai). I previously worked 10 years at Google, left to complete a master's degree in computer science including coursework on UI/UX, with emphasis on artificial intelligence. I've been the lead designer/developer of ExamPrep.ai for 5 years. I'm available for weekly meetings and will try to respond to emails within a day.
