After nearly 5 years in development, ExamPrep.ai recently concluded our free beta and looking to grow to more paying customers. Our first product focuses on passing the CPA exams (Certified Public Accountant). This is an exciting opportunity to help a small EdTech startup with innovative technology break into a competitive existing market of much larger companies.

As a small startup, our advertising budget is smaller than the incumbents so we need to be smart and creative reaching new users via other means. We anticipate that this will include the effective use of social media, and are specifically interested in a strategy for successfully launching study group(s) on Facebook, including strategic recommendations for attracting and engaging users, and growing a flourishing study community. We also have opportunitues to improve SEO, brand strategy, & targeted presence on popular CPA study hubs like Reddit.

Scope of tasks is flexible based on student interests and course specifics. If students are focused on marketing strategy, tasks can match accordingly with emphasis on things like competitive research & marketing strategy planning. If students are interested in getting hands on experience creating marketing content, implementing a strategy, and measuring results, we welcome help on that front as well.

Students will work directly with me, Michael Anuzis, Founder of ExamPrep.ai. I previously worked at Google 10 years, left to complete a master's in computer science with emphasis on artificial intelligence, and I've lead development of ExamPrep.ai for the last 5 years. Much of my time at Google was marketing oriented so I'd love to collaborate with students as though we are on a small & scrappy marketing team working together to get a startup off the ground. Available to meet weekly, and respond to emails within a day.
