Details

The objective of this project is to market The Daily Scrum News website using Google search ads. This will involve setting up search ad campaigns to run globally, emphasizing Canada, the United States, Africa and India. There will be a requirement to geo-target Canadian Provinces and US States. This Campaign will help with branding and social awareness and attract advertisers and journalists to join the platform. The team must also remove all current ads and be given a clean, blank slate. In addition, they will be required to properly set up our Google Analytics and remove all old accounts not applicable to the news website. An emphasis will also be focused on growing the Twitter profile organically. There will be no advertising funds allocated to the Twitter growth.


Deliverables

By the end of the project, learners should demonstrate:


- Setting up search ad campaigns to run globally, emphasizing Canada, the United States, Africa and India.


- Geo-targeting Canadian Provinces and US States.


- Properly setting up our Google Analytics and removing all old accounts not applicable to the news website.


- Growing the Twitter profile organically.



Final deliverables should include:


- Visitor engagement, Growth, Retention, Bounce rate, click-through rate


- A written report explaining customer habits, suggestions and growth strategies


- An analysis of the effectiveness of the campaigns.
