Details

Project: Human City aims to explore the integration of city-level IoT systems to create a cohesive data profile for urban environments. The project seeks to address the challenge of disparate data sources by developing a framework that unifies data from various IoT devices, such as traffic sensors, weather stations, and public transportation systems. By leveraging classroom knowledge in data analytics, IoT, and urban planning, learners will analyze existing data streams and propose a model for seamless data integration. The goal is to enhance city management and decision-making processes by providing a comprehensive view of urban dynamics. This project will focus on identifying key data sources, understanding data interoperability, and proposing a scalable solution for data unification.

Deliverables

- A detailed report outlining the current landscape of city-level IoT systems and their data outputs.

- A proposed framework for integrating these data sources into a unified city data profile.

- A presentation summarizing the findings and recommendations for city officials and stakeholders.

- A prototype or conceptual model demonstrating the potential integration of selected IoT data streams.
