Alternative Education is an education consulting company based in New York City. As a vendor for the Department of Education vendor, we create and supply cross-curriculum instructional material, self-help books, workshops and online courses teaching entrepreneurship through music. We’re looking for student interns to assist with implementing various digital marketing strategies.

Student interns will co-create content, review marketing campaigns, co-manage and suggest optimization strategies for email marketing campaigns, social media campaigns, search engine optimization, influencer marketing, and affiliate marketing campaigns. This will involve:

• Familiarizing themselves with our target market, products and services.
• Reviewing marketing content in the form of posts, videos, emails, landing pages etc.
• Deploying marketing campaigns to increase website traffic.
• Co-create and post content (still images and videos) promoting our company product and services.
• Overseeing / Co-manage our marketing campaigns/platforms and keeping them up-to-date.
• Recommending optimization strategies to increase conversion rates.

Project deliverables will include student interns demonstrating:

• Familiarity with our target market, products and services.
• The ability to create engaging ads and social media content.
• Deployment and optimization of marketing content and campaigns.
• Increased traffic to our website
• Increased engagement with our social media platforms
• Increased conversions all marketing efforts

Students will connect directly with President Allen F. Perry via email and phone for mentorship throughout the project. We will be able to provide answers to questions such as:

• Our products and services.
• Our marketing strategies.
• Input on choices, problems or anything else the students might encounter.
