SISA Energy is an innovative energy auditing company with a mission to help reduce greenhouse gases produced by buildings. SISA is a startup that pushes the boundaries of energy performance improvement in the building sector. With engineering and data science expertise on board, we offer optimized energy solutions for every project's needs.

Our company would like to explore decarbonization and GHG emission reduction incentives available for the buildings sector, both federally and provincially. This will include research on potential matches that fit our customers’ plans to reduce energy consumption and GHG emission. We would like to include these new databases in our online platform to develop a comprehensive financial analysis.

This will involve:

• Identifying available incentives for each energy conservation measure,
• Creation of a detailed database and highlighting key components.
• Creating a logic for how incentives are selected
• Creating a flowchart for keeping the database up to date

In this role, students will be mainly focused on designing a database of energy conservation measure incentives for new or existing buildings. They will be working directly with a team of energy engineers who will constantly help them grow their skills. Based on their expertise and interests, they might be exposed to other tasks, including:

• Automating energy and GHG reduction incentive selection,
• Automating updating procedure of the incentive database

We will provide the students with a complete walkthrough of our current product and business so the students will have the necessary information to succeed in this project

Students will work closely with the primary project manager who is supervising and available for questions. This will also include weekly progress meetings where adjustments to the students' tasks and duties can be made if necessary.
