To become a proactive sales team, we need assistance developing and start executing an outreach process. We would like to equip our sales team with a plan that guides them in researching new prospects, identifying key contacts, and reaching out with compelling messages. We would like you to create a simple step-by-step strategy for prospecting in our target market, and execute on our outreach process, improved by your findings.
The project may include, but is not limited to:
- Identifying new potential accounts that align with our current customer base.
- Compiling relevant market information.
- Building a customizable outreach script.
- Start executing on the outreach process, identify issues and improvement opportunities.
- Creating a simple tracking framework, including metrics, for measuring outreach success.
There are two deliverables. The first project deliverable is a report including research, analysis, and recommendations. It should assist our sales team in successfully prospecting within our target market with actionable recommendations that will increase sales conversions. The second deliverables is to provide metrics on the outreach process, identified issues and improvements.
We will ensure the student has a clear understanding of: (1) our company's strategic objectives and (2) his/her responsibilities and involvement in different projects. In addition, the expected outcomes will be clearly stated. The student will have a company representative to work with, who will monitor the student's activity and performance. The representative will provide guidance and constructive feedback to the student. Periodic formal meetings will be set up with the student.
