Internship Opportunity: FinTech WebApp -Data Gathering, Analysis, DB Population

Y2RISK is is able to offer a virtual internship opportunity for computer science students or teams. The primary focus for the student will be: Application Development - Selecting the best technologies and data sources for improving a web application transformation to a fully automated analysis platform (real-time multi assets financial portfolio risk analysis) Get user uploaded portfolio, populate the data to the DB, run data gathering based on the information in the portfolio, run analysis, on the collected data, and results population into the DB. Application Programming Interfaces - Review and Redesigning an existing API to simplify it; Recommend API technologies i(f needed); designing and testing a new API (if needed); creating a PDF version of the dynamic analysis for users to download (one click). Real-Time Data Visualization - review and improve current analysis dashboard., make recommendation for improvement. Developed and test approved recommendations (if any) Database Analysis - Review the current structure of the DB, and make recommendations for improvements. secure the DB by encrypting the date on it, allow API to decrypt the date for read, and encrypt data on write. Our goal at the end of this experience is: Application Development - For the student(s) to create a fully automated multi assets financial risk analysis web application feature. Application Programming Interfaces - For the student(s) to help us redesign an interface or help us implement a new API. Real-Time Data Visualization - For the student(s) to help us devise, improve, and implement a data visualization system to help our users derive insights to inform decision-making. Database Analysis - For the student(s) to help us improve our data security, storage and querying. Other duties the student may complete could include : Data sources research and evaluation API research Assisting in process improvement Unit and integration testing On the job training provided! (virtualy) Skillsets Required: PHP MySQL JavaScript phpMyAdmin HTML5 CSS Bootstrap Chartjs WordPress (nice to have) Any other web application development skills We will plan to communicate with our virtual intern using these communication tools: Riipen messaging, Microsoft Teams, emails, WhatsApp, or phone calls.
