Development of Health & Wellness Worksheets for Teacher Care Now Foundation Inc. Project Overview Students will collaborate with the Teacher Care Now Foundation Inc. (TCNfi) to create 10 interactive health and wellness resource worksheets. These worksheets aim to reduce teacher stress, burnout, and other prevalent health concerns while supporting the recruitment and retention of educators. Students will base their work on clinical psychology principles and incorporate creativity to make resources practical, engaging, and effective. Project Purpose To create 10 interactive worksheets addressing specific health and wellness topics for teachers. These worksheets will: Provide evidence-based information. Include interactive, actionable strategies. Be visually engaging and branded in TCNfi’s colors (Orange: #ee8a34, Green: #86d867). Each worksheet should cover topics as agreed upon with TCN Project Scope 1. Introduction and Orientation Overview of TCNfi’s mission and goals. Introduction to Canva for worksheet creation (access provided to TCNfi’s account). Review of example resources and PowerPoint Link presentation during project introduction. 2. Research and Development Conduct a literature review on health and wellness issues affecting teachers. Analyze existing resources and evidence-based practices in health and wellness. Evaluate cultural, social, and ethical factors related to teacher well-being. 3. Worksheet Development Create one worksheet per topic using Canva. Each worksheet should include: Information: Evidence-based background on the health topic. Interactive Element: A worksheet activity, diagram, or prompt for self-reflection. Strategies: 1-2 actionable tips or interventions. Visual Appeal: Use pictures, diagrams, and creativity to engage teachers. 4. Annotated Bibliography Compile an annotated bibliography of at least 10 evidence-based sources used for the project. Critically evaluate how each source informed the development of worksheets. 5. Weekly Check-Ins Attend weekly Zoom check-ins with the TCNfi representative for feedback and support. Discuss challenges and receive guidance on project alignment with clinical psychology principles. Outside of this time, questions can be sent to admin@tcnfi.org for responses within 48 hours. 6. Mid-Semester Submission Submit rough drafts of worksheets for review by Professor Paulson and TCNfi. Incorporate feedback to refine worksheets. 7. Final Deliverables Submit a complete set of 10 finalized worksheets. Provide a summary document with recommendations for enhancing TCNfi’s teacher wellness strategies. Present project outcomes and worksheets in a final PowerPoint presentation. Requirements Canva Access: Use the provided Canva account for design consistency and branding. Creativity: Include diagrams, visuals, rhymes, and acronyms to enhance engagement. Collaboration: Participate in weekly check-ins and communicate questions to admin@tcnfi.org. Formatting: Worksheets must align with TCNfi’s brand colors and aesthetic.
Teacher Health & Wellness Videos
Teacher Care Now Foundation Inc. (TCNfi) is a Teacher Health and Wellness nonprofit. We provide teachers with health & wellness resources and support. The main goal of this project is for each student to create a 5 to 15 minute informational video on a health & wellness topic. This will involve the following steps for the learners: 1. Research one of the predetermined health & wellness issues prevalent among teachers. Note information that would be helpful to share with teachers and strategies to combat the issue. 2. From this information, create a 5 to 15 minute informational video on the health & wellness video for teachers. 3.From the information in the video, create a digital worksheet to accompany the video.
Teacher Care Now Interactive Newsletter Template Project
Teacher Care Now Foundation is a nonprofit focused on providing teachers with health & wellness resources and support. We want to improve the health & wellness of teachers in order to help them manage the stress, burnout, and other health problems that may come along with their long workweeks and overwhelming responsibilities. In doing this we want to help increase teacher retention and recruitment. The main goal of this project is to create an interactive newsletter template to help provide health & wellness resources and support for teachers. This will involve several different steps for the learners, including: - Researching existing health & wellness resources. - Designing an interactive newsletter template that is user-friendly and visually appealing. - Developing the newsletter template using HTML and CSS. - Testing the newsletter template to ensure it is functioning properly.

Teacher Care Now Foundation is a nonprofit focused on providing teachers with health & wellness resources and support. We want to improve the health & wellness of teachers in order to help them manage the stress, burnout, and other health problems that may come along with their long workweeks and overwhelming responsibilities. In doing this we want to help increase teacher retention and recruitment. Our company would like to explore designing a prototype for a mobile application health & wellness resource for teachers. The app would provide resources and activities that teachers could use to prioritize their health & wellness focused on the 5 dimensions of our nature: physical, mental, social, emotional, and spiritual. Tasks may include: Designing a system to allow teachers to track which strategies/tips they used each day and receive encouragement each time they mark it complete. Designing a fun reward for when teachers indicate that they have implemented 5 resources/tips during each week. Learning and using various software design tools.
Health & Wellness Presentation Opportunities
Teacher Care Now Foundation is a nonprofit focused on providing teachers with health & wellness resources and support. We want to improve the health & wellness of teachers in order to help them manage the stress, burnout, and other health problems that may come along with their long workweeks and overwhelming responsibilities. In doing this we want to help increase teacher retention and recruitment. Our organization is passionate about promoting health & wellness. We want to increase awareness about our organization and the support that we provide for teachers. We would like to work with students to research potential speaking opportunities (conferences, workshops, events, etc). This will involve the following steps for the students: Familiarizing themselves with our health & wellness cause, our mission and goals. Researching teacher organizations and other possible speaking engagements. Calling school systems and inquiring about speaking opportunities.
Teacher Health & Wellness Newsletter Development
Teacher Care Now Foundation is a nonprofit focused on providing teachers with health & wellness resources and support. We want to improve the health & wellness of teachers in order to help them manage the stress, burnout, and other health problems that may come along with their long workweeks and overwhelming responsibilities. In doing this we want to help increase teacher retention and recruitment. We would like to collaborate with students to develop and distribute a newsletter promoting our cause. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Conducting background research on the cause. Brainstorming sections that each newsletter will include. Developing topics for each issue based on seasonal events. Creating 12 newsletters including materials to be published and making revisions based on feedback. Proofreading drafts of newsletters and recommending areas for improvement. Bonus steps in the process would also include: Recommending other ways to increase awareness about our cause.
Food & Nutrition Resources Project
Teacher Care Now Foundation Inc. (TCNfi) is a teacher health & wellness nonprofit. We provide teachers with health & wellness resources and support to improve their health & wellness, quality of life, and help retain teachers and recruit new teachers to the profession. The main goal of this project is to create online food and nutrition resources and support to help teachers prioritize their health & wellness, with emphasis on: meal prep, nutrition, high-energy meals and snacks, quick, and easy recipes and ideas. This will involve the following steps for the students: - Researching food and nutrition resources and support that would be beneficial for teachers. - Develop 10 food & nutrition resources for teachers.

Website Redesign
Our company provides teacher health and wellness resources and support to help recruit and retain teachers. We would like to work with students to redesign our website so that it is easy to maintain while providing an appealing interface for users and providing more opportunities for teachers to increase click rates. We currently use WordPress. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Creating ideas for additional information you would add to the website. Building a website, with our assistance in providing the content. Providing training on updating and maintaining the website. Bonus steps in the process would also include: Testing prototypes with customers and refining ideas with feedback.
