In 2019, RBC Future Launch and Riipen launched a partnership with the goal of increasing access to high-impact work-integrated learning (WIL) opportunities for Canadian post-secondary students Our shared mission: to help prepare learners, particularly those from underserved communities, for the Future of Work. By the end of 2022, the RBC-Riipen partnership has delivered over 27,000 online WIL experiences, to a wide diversity of learners and educational partners across Canada with the potential of delivering over 250,000 by 2026.

W25 Improving Customer Experience To Enhance Customer Engagement
Fanshawe College students in this program understand customer experience design through Customer Experience (CX) research, maximizing journey mapping, measuring the CX journey, and how to deploy direct and interactive omni-channel (multiple) marketing campaigns using customer intelligence and social media analytics. This project will involve groups of 4-5 students in teams to develop a new customer experience for a product or service. The objectives are to apply the course material and develop an appreciation for the process that a Customer Experience Specialist or Marketing Manager goes through in developing a new customer experience plan. Each team will play the part of a customer experience company which encompasses all the CX tools and will be pitching a new customer experience to your organization. Additional details regarding the live client work will be discussed in class.

3rd and 4th year undergraduate business students working in 3-5 person teams will conduct research to develop an actionable strategy to solve a leadership development challenge faced by your organization, stakeholders, and/or clients. For example, they can design leadership training programs incorporating the latest virtual and in-person designs and gamification ideas. Example topics are stress management, communication skills, negotiation skills, giving feedback, goal setting, managing teams, leading change.
Data Science and Analytics (University of Calgary)
My learners are equipped to tackle projects in machine learning and statistical learning, having gained proficiency in Python and R. They have engaged with several hands-on courses covering machine learning, statistical data analysis, SQL and database management, Tableau dashboard creation, data engineering, and big data. I am seeking internship projects that will help them apply their skills as part of their data science master’s program. Please note that learners will register for their internship between May and August 2025. If you wish to start working with them during this period, it would be ideal.
