The University of Memphis invites industry partners to collaborate with students enrolled in our advanced Newtonian Mechanics course. This course builds on foundational physics principles and focuses on deepening students' understanding and application of Newtonian mechanics. Designed for undergraduate students proficient in calculus, trigonometry, and basic physics, students will develop skills in solving parametric problems, applying Newtonian mechanics to real-world situations, and enhancing their logical and intuitive problem-solving abilities. Employers can expect students to bring a strong analytical background and practical approach to projects.
Computer Science Capstone - Spring 2025

The University of Memphis’s Computer Science Capstone students are ready to apply their technical expertise in programming, software engineering, and project management to real-world projects. This experience supports students in developing their abilities to collaborate, develop software solutions, and address client needs while strengthening skills like app design, team communication, and technical presentation. Employers who sponsor a project must communicate regularly with students (about once per week), provide necessary project information, and offer guidance throughout the development process. Additionally, employers are asked to attend the final project presentation in person (virtual option available), where they can provide constructive, professional feedback to student teams through the Riipen platform.

They are trained to interpret clinical encounters, understand and use medical terminology, and develop cultural awareness regarding healthcare issues pertinent to the Hispanic community.
