Phase 1: Training Phase (about 10 hours)

Students will be provided with all the background information and training in terms of the project outline and deliverables over the course of their time with us. Areas focused align with our project and will focus on research gathering and connecting students with relevant contacts for support.

Phase 2: Project Execution Phase (about 70 hours)

Next year we plan to distribute our glasses through a partner organization, however, we need to provide this organization with marketing material to send to their customers. The student will look at coming up with the narrative and marketing material that we can send to our partner organization to train their customer outreach team and to put on their website and application.

Deliverables

The report should include one or all of the following:

  • A copy of how the partner-customer outreach team should talk about our product and our value proposition.
  • An email that our partner can send to their customers talking about our product.
  • An in-app banner that our partner organization can use such that users can get learn more about our product when they click on it.
Mentorship

Onboarding calls with the students to explain the scope of the project and set milestones. There will be weekly check-ins to make sure that the students do not have any questions or concerns. Additional support will be provided on an ad-hoc basis as I am happy to meet if need be. The student will also be able to talk to the other interns for help or advice. The student can also connect to our advisors one of whom is a business advisor who can help make the recommendations and guide the student when doing research. There will also be regular updates that will be provided by the students in terms of their progress.

We will plan to communicate with our virtual intern(s) using phone calls, email and through the company slack.
