I'm Annie Patel, born and brought up in Odisha, India. After my marriage I moved to Kolkata in West Bengal. Recently, my family and I relocated to North York, Canada where I reside with my husband and 11 year old son.

I have had an enriching 12 years journey in Human Resources, progressing from Executive Trainee to Senior Manager HR with Tata Steel Downstream Products Limited in Kolkata. Throughout my career, I've specialized in streamlining HR processes through digitalization initiatives, including online time and attendance systems, performance management, HR analytics, and employee engagement. These efforts have significantly enhanced data integrity and optimized business processes. I am also passionate about resolving people's query effectively making them feel valued and supportive.

I aspire to become an HR Transformation Consultant, building extensive HR project management experience in leading HR technologies and manage large-scale projects that drive operational excellence and set new benchmarks for innovation in HR.

Outside my work, I love exploring places and spending quality time with my family. I also have a deep interest in connecting with elderly people, listening to their stories and being a supportive ear for their experiences.
