The objective of this project is to market The Daily Scrum News website using Google search ads. This will involve setting up search ad campaigns to run globally, emphasizing Canada, the United States, Africa and India. There will be a requirement to geo-target Canadian Provinces and US States. This Campaign will help with branding and social awareness and attract advertisers and journalists to join the platform. The team must also remove all current ads and be given a clean, blank slate. In addition, they will be required to properly set up our Google Analytics and remove all old accounts not applicable to the news website. An emphasis will also be focused on growing the Twitter profile organically. There will be no advertising funds allocated to the Twitter growth.

The objective of this project is to develop a versatile script, program, or OpenAI solution designed to automate the generation of user accounts (digital journalists) on our news blog platform, tailored to specific locations. The program will be able to seamlessly populate our registration forms and eliminate the necessity for email-based sign-ups, given that the accounts are intended for internal use. .The primary aim entails enhancing the scalability of our news website's real-time stories that are trending and integrating with Chat GPT; This will be achieved by enabling the creation of a large number of accounts with automated profile information, thereby facilitating the automation of article composition and contributing to an increased volume of timely news reports. Additional aspects regarding featured images having specific content appear on the home screen will be required.

Saftey App - Cops and Karens

Our company works in the media with the foundation's non-profit organization. We aim to tell compelling stories in daily news with an emphasis on a humanistic approach, hoping to foster meaningful dialogue without taking part in the rhetoric in the current media landscape. We have been working with students and teaching journalism through the virtual internship program for years. Most recently, students from the virtual internship program started developing a safety App. to be deployed on Android and IOS. With the pandemic, the students did not get to finish the App., which is now why we are connecting with Riipen. The Application is around 80% complete, meaning all functions work and have been tested for uploading videos. The next phase is the live streaming and interactions that requires significant coding, UI and design to get it to the stage where it can be deployed into both the IOS and Android stores; We want to work with students to finish the App. Cops & Karens is an app that can capture video and send out notifications in situations of danger—similar to the video functions of YouTube but with many more unique features. The current status of the app involves hosting it on GitHub and utilizing Atlassian.com and Jira for communication and progress tracking. The next steps include implementing live streaming functionality, creating proper icons and graphics, incorporating third-party advertisements, and developing a platform similar to YouTube that enables payment to content creators for their submitted videos. The project has comprehensive documentation from the previous development team, including source codes, making it accessible for a new team to seamlessly take over and continue the project. The team is eager to collaborate with a new group to advance the app further.
