Our company is pivoting from grant writing to training. We hope to update and revamp our existing website to reflect this and attract more customers. We would like to work with students to develop a new website that is easy to maintain while providing an appealing interface for users. This can be achieved through updating our Wix or using an online training program component such as Thinkific, Stan, Skool. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Researching different site-building tools and their associated advantages / disadvantages. Conducting a needs analysis and see which platform is the best to host live and evergreen content Building a website, with our assistance in providing the content. The tasks that learners will need to complete to achieve the project goal include: - Researching and identifying potential funding sources. - Developing a comprehensive grant writing and crowd funding strategy. - Creating a budget for the project. - Developing a marketing plan to promote the project. - Creating a website to promote the project. - Writing grant applications and crowd funding campaigns - launch the online campaign. - Managing the fundraising process. - Tracking and reporting on the progress of the project.

Save The Spot Laundromat Campaign
The main goal of this project is to assist in running a campaign to lobby to keep the only coin operated laundromat in Squamish open. This would include lobbying various levels of Government, reaching out to private landlords, dealing with the Squamish Nation, and raising awareness of the importance of access to washing facilities as a basic human right.

The grants should include hiring, training, expansion, research, marketing and growth grants for small and medium businesses, minorities and start ups in every industry. The goal of this project is to create a comprehensive database of all business grants in Canada as there is not one. That is right - there is not one central system and in order to help as many businesses as possible we need to create one. The database will include information on grant type, eligibility requirements, application deadlines, and contact information for each grant. The database will be an important resource for businesses across Canada, particularly small businesses, who may not have the resources to dedicate to researching available grants.
