Online Math Project - 1 student
Positions available: 1 student We would like the student to help us with creating content that is aligned with our vision, mission, and sector. We will ensure the student has a clear understanding of what these elements are for our organization. The ideal candidate will be able to design and create online lessons and worksheets that will help students learn Mathematics better. The candidate will work closely with our Director, and with a few elementary students to improve their basic Math skills. Researching different teaching methods pertaining to online teaching will help create worksheets that will aid students understand various topics. To accomplish this, we expect the student(s) will: Do research pertaining to the teaching of mathematics online Create lessons and worksheets for students to learn Math, using MS Word Finding different methods to ensure students understand the Math topics that are taught Interview and test students on their Math skills If you like the sound of our culture, and are ready to tackle this challenge with us, then we'd love to hear from you. A student with excellent writing, teaching and research skills would be the ideal candidate for this project. We are looking for 1 student at this time. The student will work 80 hours over the next 4 weeks.
Online Math Project

Funding Project
Positions available: Up to 4 We are looking to bring on a 2 Grant Writing Interns to assist us with completing our proposals. Based on our goals, we are looking for the student to work on the following: Help write grant applications Ensure we meet the grant's requirements Create any other documents required Grant research: Research companies/organizations that have previously provided grants/donations to organizations in our space Write up grant drafts, and RFPs (Requests for proposals) Respond to funder’s questions about the grant proposal and develop relationships with prospective donors If you're willing and open to work with us, we want to hear from you!! We are looking for 2 students to help us develop a fundraising plan which involves researching opportunities, brainstorming ideas and developing a plan. The project will include, but may not be limited to: - Finding various online donation platforms and donor management programs that we can tap into to source funding for our program - Working with us to brainstorm ideas on how to raise funds more proactively and efficiently - Developing a plan and content for our donors, in the form of a donor stewardship calendar that will propel relationship-building and communications that will take place after the donor's gift has been received
Math Edu Project
Positions available: 3 students The primary focus for the students will be to: Develop content that matches our courses Our goal at the end of this experience is for the student(s) to help us improve our current course offering and develop content that matches our courses.
Programming Project
Positions available: 2 student teams A. The primary focus for this team of students will be to: · Help create math materials using existing template (Grades 1-4 math) Our goal at the end of this experience is for the student(s) to help us improve our current course offering and develop high level content that matches our courses. B. The focus on this part is for another team of students to do research related to the impact of the pandemic, source articles and provide a report. Possibly additional research will be required.
Prospecting Plan and Sales
Number of individual students required: 1 team of 2 students To become a proactive sales team, we need assistance developing and start executing an outreach process. We would like to equip our sales team with a plan that guides them in researching new prospects, identifying key contacts, and reaching out with compelling messages. We would like you to create a simple step-by-step strategy for prospecting in our target market, and execute on our outreach process, improved by your findings. The project may include, but is not limited to: Identifying new potential accounts that align with our current customer base. Compiling relevant market information. Building a customizable outreach script. Start executing on the outreach process, identify issues and improvement opportunities. Creating a simple tracking framework, including metrics, for measuring outreach success. There are two deliverables. The first project deliverable is a report including research, analysis, and recommendations. It should assist our sales team in successfully prospecting within our target market with actionable recommendations that will increase sales conversions. The second deliverables is to provide metrics on the outreach process, identified issues and improvements.
Marketing and Media, Virtual Program
Positions available: 2 students The primary focus for the students will be to: Conduct an audit of our current social media presence Conduct market research, identify our ideal target market and key messaging Develop and implement strategies for improving our online presence and increasing engagement Write and review website content Write blog articles, newsletters and other content pieces on assigned topics Evaluate recent successful user-generated campaigns, preferably in our sector Identify media outlets that are most beneficial to share our story Our goal at the end of this experience is for the student(s) to help us improve our online presence, reach more customers, and effectively promote our brand through compelling content.
