Website Audit, UX and Conversion Optimization Study

We recently launched an updated website and are looking for a group of students to perform an audit, analyse the usability and create meaningful and actionable strategies around how to increase conversions. Our website and landing pages already ranking well on Google and generating a lot of traffic, but our problem lies in converting the leads that come to that page into real action. This project includes, but is not limited to: Creating strategies for Increasing conversions on our existing high-traffic landing pages Recommendations on Improving the overall user experience Analyzing and disseminating heat maps (we have been running Hot Jar since our launch in March) Developing sample user tests Overall recommendations on how the website could be improved. The final project deliverable should be a report including research, analysis, and recommendations, and perhaps a presentation. It should assist our marketing team in successfully increasing our conversation rate with actionable recommendations that will increase sales conversions.

Virtual Internship: Increasing Social Media Presence and Following on LinkedIn

Our organization is able to offer a virtual internship opportunity for 1 student. The primary focus for the student will be creating and implementing a campaign to increase on social media presence, mainly focusing on LinkedIn. Our goal at the end of this experience is to have a more active LinkedIn presence and increased following to draw traffic to our site. Other duties the student may complete could include: - Recommend strategies for using digital and online communication and media as part of a marketing communications plan - Writing and creating content for our LinkedIn profile - Creating a content calendar for all our social media platforms (LinkedIn, Youtube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) - Developing visual content to share We will plan to communicate with our virtual intern using these communication tools: Phone, Riipen messaging, Asana, email, and video conferencing. Virtual Internship: Automating Sales Funnel Tracking + CRM Implementation

Our organization is able to offer a virtual internship opportunity for 1 student. The primary focus for the student will be automating our sales funnel tracking by consolidating our processes from beginning to end using our CRM (Zoho) as the end point. At the moment there are several data collection points that are disconnected: We rely on manually inputting the majority of our web leads and results into our CRM Zoho Our web leads flow into our Mailchimp account but there is no connectivity with our CRM. We track web traffic and conversions with Google Analytics but have no meaningful way to determine ROI on our marketing spend Our goal at the end of this experience is to have a streamlined Sales Funnel Tracking System and CRM system that is automated. Other duties the student may complete could include: - Using our current strategy to create a new and augmented CRM marketing campaign - Mapping customer journey and automating personalized digital marketing. - Applying standard marketing analytics and CRM processes to sales funnel. - Analyzing SEO and current Google Analytics campaigns to create email marketing campaigns with relevant key words We will plan to communicate with our virtual intern using these communication tools: Phone, Riipen messaging, Asana, email, and video conferencing. Social Media Strategy for YouTube

Pop! Events Group already has some great video content to utilize. We are seeking a robust strategy to help increase our exposure on YouTube. We are looking for a group of students to do the following. Complete a Social Media and Digital Marketing audit to determine the best possible ways to integrate YouTube into our existing Social Media strategy Create an extensive "ideas" list of suggested video content based on company brand standards and existing YouTube trends Produce outlines for a minimum of 3 videos based on ideas chosen from list of suggestions Create a strategy to promote videos and optimize our company YouTube Channel for increased views and followers Exhibit and create strategy around how to use YouTube to increase brand visibility and actual sales This project will be both fun and productive for the right group of students!!

Website Redesign Strategy

Our existing website has considerable traffic and already performs well in some areas. We do believe that there are vast improvements that can be made in the areas of Brand Identity, Design and User Experience. The following project is 3 fold: 1) Brand redistribution- One major issue that we feel we are having is the Brand Confusion caused by our Toy and Gift Section on our current Site. We intend on leaving the toy and gift section on our current website and creating a new website specifically for our Event Planning and Event Rentals sides to our business, carrying over SEO equity to the new site. We are looking for a strategy on how to safely and effectively separate the brand into two parts. 2) New Site Design- The new site should have an updated look and feel. It should attract a wider array of event clients while preserving our existing market appeal. We are seeking recommendations with regards to an upgraded design. 3) User Experience- The new site needs to vastly improve user experience. The existing website lacks user-flow, has a high bounce rate and low conversions of some of our highest trafficked pages. We would like insights on website usability issues to improve sales conversion rates. We are looking for a systematic study of user behavior to help identify the friction points and deterrents in this purchase process, which are hindering sales conversions. To accomplish, we believe you will need to: Conduct user experience research through surveys, interviews, and focus groups. Analyze user data and brainstorm solutions. Test possible solutions. Develop validated recommendations for optimizing user experience Final deliverable will be an extensive written and visualized report including brand redistribution strategy, design recommendations and UX recommendations based on research, testing and brainstorming.

SEO Keyphrase Analysis

Pop! Events Group already has an in depth keyword strategy and is heavily invested in Search Engine Optimization. We would like a group of students to dig deeper into our existing strategy and uncover answers to the following questions: What are the keywords and key phrases that our actual target market are using to describe our services? What are the "low hanging fruit" keywords for our industry that we currently are not targeting? What are some long-tail key phrases for terms that we are already target? This course will involve a combination of field research as well as online research. Deliverable will be an extensive keyword list covering all 3 questions above with particular emphasis on question One. Monthly regional search volumes for each keyphrase/ keyword to be included.

Market Expansion Research, Strategy & Marketing Plan

We are ready to take our business to the next level. It’s time to grow! Our company requires some assistance is assessing our preparedness to grow, assessing the customer landscape outside of our current market, deciding on the best course of action and developing a strategy to implement our plan. We want to learn more about customer’s expectations and behaviors in suggested new markets. It is important for us to stay up to date on industry standards to ensure that we research new markets fully and completely before choosing to enter. We have some ideas of where we would like to go but we need to make sure that we consider all available options before making a decision. Our specific need is an outline of our industry’s expansion opportunities through a market analysis, and prior to that, a SWOT analysis of our business. To consider: which markets align with our current one? Where are there buyers that we have yet to reach? What are the pros and cons to expanding our operations? What potential competitors exist in new markets? What legal protocol will need to be considered? What capabilities do we currently have that we could apply to different markets? We would like this to be partnered with some primary data collection; surveys and research into our present and future consumer to gather insights into buying behaviors and expansion expectations.
